Email Developer

We’re looking for an ambitious, creative problem solver with deep experience building high-profile, standards-compliant HTML emails. Our client is one of the biggest brands in the world and a leader in the technology industry. Terms:

  • This is a fully remote, full-time salaried position with working hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm Pacific Time, Monday through Friday. Working hours can be flexible depending on work location.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience hand-coding HTML emails

  • Deep familiarity with standard enterprise communication methods and when to use them

  • Adept at managing relationships with clients and stakeholders in medium to large enterprises

  • Strong understanding of Google Workspace

  • Strong understanding of marketing email development lifecycle

Bonus Points For:

  • Knowledge of email building tools, such as Stensul

  • Experience with email service providers such as MailChimp or Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Experience with generative AI and workstream automation

  • Familiarity with accessibility standards in email and on the web

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be a trusted advisor to your team, clients, stakeholders, and partners.

  • Self-manage projects and contribute to email production operations.

  • Create, manage, and deploy email campaigns.

  • Collaborate with technical stakeholders to enable personalization and customer journeys.

  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.

  • Identify areas in processes that need improvement and implement efficiencies.

  • Participate in and contribute to team brainstorming sessions.

  • Manage communications with client and third party stakeholders.

  • Understand client needs and provide solutions that meet or exceed expectations.

  • Manage and follow timelines, and work with the team to meet deadlines.

  • Perform quality assurance testing on emails and websites across multiple platforms.

  • Create data files used to simulate different customer journeys, following best practices and standards.

  • Collaborate with developers and engineers to implement technical improvements and best practices in the production process.

  • Contribute to business development efforts, proposals, and pitches.

  • Create, edit, and update internal documentation.

  • Actively pursue ongoing learning in your field and complete mandatory training modules in a timely manner.
